In all our years crafting and installing our creations, we can honestly say that working with the Widawsky family has been the most gratifying and enjoyable experience for us. Their Spalted Maple desk and metal shelving look exquisite in their beautiful new home. Thank you Widawskys for the opportunity to work with you on this project.
The best laid plans of mice and men, oft go awry
And a bit awry they have gone. Sometimes it happens when you fly standby, you may not make it on the flight. What to do? In this case, you travel from Barcelona to Madrid to try and get on another standby home. Stayed tuned. I may get home tomorrow or the end of the week. LOL
Bus - economical, clean, comfy and WiFi. Long a** trip but c'est la vie.
Last Night
Should have taken a picture of the delicious vegetable paella BEFORE we ate it. Trust us, it was fantastic. Here's to Gusto in Sevilla!
Dessert at Amorío was just as delicious.
The beach at El Puerto de Santa Maria
Family living so close to the beach is always a good thing.
No matter where we go, New York, and pizza, are never far behind
No Words Necessary
Couldn't visit Sevilla without visiting at least one of its magnificent cathedrals
Massive Rubber Ficus Elástica Tree
Spotted at the Plaza del Museo
Do as the locals do, but what do you do when the locals do Dunkin'??

A Visit to the Tio Pepe Bodega in Jerez, Spain
Visited the vaunted Tio Pepe "bodega" in Jerez, where they make world renowned sherry, wines, whiskey, etc. It was like stepping back into the 19th and early 20th centuries. Fascinating, take a look.
Of Mice and Vino
Curious factoid: Mice in the Tio Pepe Bodega take part in the tasting process, really. A glass of wine is left out for them every night. Check it out,

Lots of rain this whole trip, but not a problem...yet.

School Room at Sagrada Familia
In 1909, Antoni Gaudi, architect of the Sagrada Familia, built a school for the children of workers building the church, although other neighborhood children attended as well. There were three schools in all and the pictures below represent what a typical classroom looked like in 1910.
Overcast Barcelona
Never dampens the spirit nor a visit to La Sagrada Familia.
Greetings From España
Visiting beautiful, bold, Barcelona. What a treat!
La Pedrera, JT's favorite building in Barcelona.

Boletus (Mushrooms)
It's getting harder to spot any these days at the yard but we came across these recently.
Can't Beat Old School Machinery
Purchased this sweet Yates American (49") Three Head Drum Sander, a great addition to our shop. Purchasing it was the easy part, transporting it, not so much, LOL.
At 9'-2"L x 8'-6"W and 14,500 lbs., this is some powerhouse!
Let's Do This!
Alex and Katie found us on the internet and rushed over to the shop - no call, no appointment, but they were ready to commission a table and are we ever glad they did. We delivered their 8'L x 40"W, live edge Walnut table yesterday. It is beautiful and we were thrilled to work with such a lovely couple to make the perfect table. Happy Thanksgiving!
