Some really large Ash trees arrived Tuesday and they're pretty nice

Getting ready to mill a 43 1/2" diameter Sycamore and a smaller 24 1/2" Tulip. Just take a look at some of the spalt and wonderful grain properties they're sporting.

We have been making a concerted effort at housekeeping at the mill yard. Resourceful Polo has been doing a bang up job at helping us get organized. We have created even more space to house logs and beams. Bring them on!
We've had a great month with all the trees that we have recently sourced. Yesterday we acquired the two below in our neck of the woods, so to speak.

The Walnut tree which we spotted (and wrote about 11/24) in New Rochelle is now headed to our yard in Hartsdale. Big and beautiful, this tree will yield some great slabs.
