Sunday at the Flea
Our new line of "ready to go" tables and benches debuted at the Williamsburg Flea this morning. Well received, this beautifully simple set was sold within a couple of hours to a lovely couple who are furnishing their new Brooklyn apt. Gracias, Natalia and Birago!

Our Triangle Tricycle stools, hand crafted in our shop from a Central Park Mulberry tree. It's a pleasure giving back for a great cause, St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, La.

The Hyster H60C Forklift can carry 6,000 lbs. and is gas powered, but I love that old iron.
My Towmotor cannot lift this big, Black Walnut log and the Michigan 125 is too big for tight spaces.
Might be added to my collection of big toys. Hope there's room in the yard for it.
Creating a Pair of Custom Bed Side Tables
We were asked to make a pair of walnut bedside tables like one we had shown at the Brooklyn Flea. Last Sunday, a rare day off from the flea, we spent it at our yard picking out and cutting the perfect walnut log for this project.
First up, identifying the appropriate sized log and moving it over to the saw on our newly acquired vintage Towmotor forklift.

More than 600 beams will be removed from three neighboring buildings. 12' and 24' Fir beams. We are trying to get as much as we can as well as elevator metal.
Our Hairpin Legs Travel Far and Wide
This lovely DIY table was made by someone in Vaasa, Finland using legs she purchased from us at the Brooklyn flea and took home. We think she did a great job. Thanks for your patronage Maiju!

Walnut Cross Cuts
We drove up to Victor, NY to get some already cut walnut that was going to be used as firewood. It will live on as cross cuts and stumps, but it's up to you to determine where.

The wood comes from 211 Schemerhorn and the doors will be going to Jordan Taylor Inc. We thank them for using local merchants and local products.

Working on Four Stools for a Special Project
These stools are a donation to St. Augustine H.S. in New Orleans, LA. for Hampfest, an annual fundraiser for the school. The Mulberry seats are to be yellow and the the bases will be powder coated purple, the school colors. The Mulberry is Central Park Sandy wood.
