Secured and ready to go to its new home.
Just picking this beauty up. It will be great in the new space.
Elmer, the wood turner, not included.
At our new space
Big space, good light, can't ask for more.
We'll be ready to move in very soon.
We do!
Lots of walnut here
46" wide
Some really large Ash trees arrived Tuesday and they're pretty nice
Large cavity in the trees we use that in our slabs
Ash Stump
Dusk at Oakland Cemetery
80% of our logs have been sitting for more than two years. Almost every is spalted and it's a beautiful thing.
Come visit!
Discussing the project.
Measuring the length and width of the slabs.
These will be perfect.
We can already picture a beautiful table.
Climbing up to get a better view of what is available.
Measuring up
Even the dog has a say in this project!
Love it when the family pet approves!
Milled and stacked today.
10' long
Fastest way from point A to point B. No car, no problem. Had to get this 21" White Pine bench to the Brooklyn Flea. Just jumped on the D train. While it may be imperfect, you gotta love public transportation in NYC.
Love these.
Last but not least on this busy Saturday, we milled this very sturdy Red Oak.
12' x 20"-31"
All in a day's work for blacklumberjack and his team.
